I concur. If you're going to send an unsolicited email, and I don't agree with doing so, you should at least identify yourself. Anything else is unethical.

Someone mentioned that no one has the legal authority to call for killing. This simply isn't true. Consider military personel.
Here's my quesion for those who claim they won't kill. If you had the opportunity to kill Osama Bin Laden, and if the government told you to do so, would you? If you wouldn't, what if you witnessed him directing another 9/11 attack and had the chance to stop it by killing him, would you? Seems to me in this case if you say no, you'd have some explaining to do to the whole world.

If I agreed with the cause, then yes. But, that's a big qualification--there are few causes that justify killing.

2)Being that a plethora of "gods" exist in the collective imaginations of humanity, you'll have to be more specific.
3)Not everything has a reason. Like gravity, we must accept suffering. Suffering just is.
4)No one knows. Evolution offers the most complete explanation to date.

6)Yes, the devil is real, as much as an imaginary character can be. The devil came from human fear.
7)I am not a religious person, so this question is null and void. I do, however, support following most laws. Since smoking marijuana is illegal in my country, then it is wrong to smoke it.
8)Again, null and void. However, as long as proper precautions are taken and information used, I have no problem with it. I see nothing positive about giving a negative stigma to a basic trait, not only of humans, but of all living creatures.
9)Once again, null and void. I am not gay, and I don't have to think about it. I only worry about my own actions. This is a much more useful way to live, imo.

I'm glad you're happy with your religion, ber. Also, I think you do weigh good and bad before making a decision about anything. That's commendable. The difference between you and many on here, I think though, is that you don't see the bad that others see about witnesses and others don't see the good that you do. I don't think you're any different from any of the rest of us. And, this is my viewpoint and of course is therefore subjective, I think you're a little more mislead than others.

One of the greatest things I experience in the witness process so far, is they really give you a thorough going over all the Bible topics. Starting from What the Bible Really Teaches, the two counselors frequently ask about your personal opinions on these "iffy" topics. There are a lot of Protestant Churches who will accept membership with less rigor. As a result many develop and harbor wierdly subjective opinions that may go unsurfaced until it is found out that they are serial killers. And angels are far from being mythological.It is an important issue if a person is going to go about professing to be a minister. It is said somewhere the devil likes to disguise him/herself as being of the light.
